Debuting at Lentekabinet this year is Amsterdam-based DJ Sarkawt Hamad. She carefully layers genre upon genre in her sets, from floating deep house, to gritty techno, to rave-infused breaks. It’s all driven by energetic percussion, and countered with emotive pads or euphoric melodies. Sarkawt will not be pinned down, which is exactly why the versatile DJ is quickly making her way all around the Netherlands and far, far beyond!
