Ever since he began DJing and producing in his early teens, Ron Trent has left his mark on dance music. He played a crucial role in the birth of deep house within Chicago’s underground music scene during the 1980s. Trent has been running Prescription Records since the 1990s, a label he co-founded with Chez Damier. Prescription is widely regarded as one of the most influential (deep) house imprints of its era, with Ron Trent’s own track “I Feel The Rhythm” as one of its many stellar releases.

For Lentekabinet 2025, Ron Trent will be sharing the decks with a house-head in its truest form: Antal. As the mastermind behind the Amsterdam-based record store Rush Hour, Antal has become a key figure in the local music scene. His personal record collection is equally legendary, featuring sought-after wax and rare gems—sure to be on full display when Antal teams up with the iconic Ron Trent.
